Welcome to Railway Day 2026 – an opportunity for KTH students to meet some of the companies and organizations shaping and advancing the railway systems of the future.
The railway industry is entering a period of historic growth. Over the next twelve years, investments of approximately SEK 600 billion are planned. At the same time, new trains, advanced technologies, digital solutions, and smarter ways of operating, maintaining, and developing railway systems are emerging.
This creates exciting opportunities for those who want to work with technology that makes a difference.
Railway Day is organized in collaboration between KTH and the Railway Industry Cooperation Forum (JBS). Here, you’ll have the chance to meet companies and organizations that work together to keep the railway sector running and evolving, from those who design and build trains, tracks, signaling systems, and other technologies, to those who operate train services and manage infrastructure, stations, and maintenance.
